Q: Are all the products sold in Canadian Telescopes online store shipped from Canada?
A: No. Depending on the manufacturer or the vendor of the items, they are shipped to you from different warehouse locations in US and Canada.
Q: For the items shipped from outside of Canada, who pays for customs brokerage fees and taxes?
A: Canadian Telescopes has agreements with customs broker and courier companies, which will charge all the import charges, including the brokerage fees and taxes to Canadian Telescopes.
Q: How long does it take to ship my order?
Q: What if the courier company charged me with brokerage fees and taxes?
A: Although Canadian Telescopes has an agreement with broker agency and Courier Company to pay these fees, mistakes can happen. In this case just scan your receipt and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will fully refund you with these charges.
A: Depending on where the item is coming from and the manufacturer, it can take 2 to 10 business days for your items to be shipped. But usually most of the items ship within 3 to 5 days. Canadian Telescopes products mostly ship within 48 hours.
Q: When do you charge my credit card or Paypal account?
A: Your credit card or Paypal account will be charged when your order is ready for shipment. In some cases we need charge your credit card before hand for high amount orders.
Where is my order?
Please login to your account and see the status of your order. If status is at "Pending" it means that we have not been able to fullfil all the items in your order. Once this has been fulfilled, you will receive a notification email which includes the tracking number and a link to your account page showing the shipping process.
Why is my order taking so long?
Item(s) in your order are on back order. Most of our suppliers ship our orders at least once a week but sometimes even the manufacturer does not have the item in their stock so we have to wait for that specific item to be available and ready for shipment.
Why don’t I have a tracking number yet, its been 3 days?
The tracking number will be emailed to you when your item is ready for shipment. If you have not received the tracking number. then your order has not been fulfilled yet.
I want to cancel my order, can I call it in?
You can cancel your order anytime before it has been shipped. You also can return your order within 30 days and we will refund your money once we receive the items in original packaging and condition.
My scope arrived damaged, what should I do?
If any item you have received is damaged or faulty, please contact us within one week and we will send you a return shipping label and at the same time will ship you a replacement.
