Includes Meade 494 Autostar GOTO computer. The ETX-80 is a great first
GOTO telescope with unique features. This "backpack" version comes with
a deluxe durable backpack allowing convenient transport and storage of
both the telescope and accessories.

The ETX-80AT Backpack achromatic refractor is an
ultra-portable telescope for both astronomy and terrestrial use,
delivering more light-gathering than competitively priced 60mm models,
and comes with a deluxe durable backpack allowing convenient transport
and storage of both the telescope and accessories.
The perfect on the go and campground observatory, ideal for camping,
hiking, picnics, the beach, vacations, or any other time you want to
connect with nature and the universe. Lunar craters by the hundreds,
cloud belts on Jupiter, and Saturn’s rings as just the beginning of
what can be seen.
This 80mm (3.1") refracting type telescope features a focal length
of 400mm (f/5) with multi-coated optics for great image brightness.
This model has several unique and useful standard features including an
internal flip function Barlow lens to increase the magnification of the
eyepiece in use, an internal flip mirror for mounting a camera at the
rear of the telescope, an image erecting prism for daytime use so the
image is correct both right side up and left to right, the Meade #494
AutoStar Handbox with over 1400 object library, an internal time chip,
aluminum tripod, AutoStar Suite Astronomer Edition Software and
Instructional DVD, internal battery pack for six (user supplied) AA
batteries, combination compass/bubble, dew shield, heavy duty nylon
type backpack and two Series 4000 1.25 Super Plössl Eyepieces (9.7mm
and 26mm).
